ACCOMMODATION

On your arrival you will be accompanied to the small guest houses, which are about five hundred meters from the farmhouse. A dirt road will lead you to vineyards and the olive groves towards the old and ever expanding Jošč or oak tree, which is two-hundred years old. Some of the old buildings were renovated into two pretty houses, whose rooms are named after the typical fruit of Collio: berry, cherry, grape, chestnut, apple and strawberry.

GASTRONOMY

We will pamper you with traditional recipes of the »Collio« and »Friuli« cuisines. We offer lots of home-grown vegetables, meat and wine, jams, honey, pasta and bread. Our specialities are pearl barley with vegetables, seasonal soups, omelettes, frico, gnocchi (small potato dumplings) filled with aromatic herbs and fruit, toč with ham and white polenta, lasagne (pie) with seasonal vegetables and chestnuts and pumpkin-based dishes.

RENTING BIKES

Twelve bikes, 8 mountain-bikes, are available for a nice tour around the picturesque Collio hills. You can rent them as well as other equipment and we can give you the brochure with a detailed description of the route. All along the way you can admire the astonishingly beautiful landscape of the Brda region.

DOMESTIC ANIMALS IN THE FARMHOUSE

Children of all ages will surely like the ponies, goats, hens, peacocks, rabbits, ducks and puppies and can enjoy them in their natural environment.


 

TRIPS

If you wish to tour around the surrounding area or further afield, or if you want to sample the numerous varieties of wine from Collio or those from the vineyards across the border, we can provide a bus, which will accommodate twenty people (in association with Silbus (www.silbus.si)
